About Strivonix
Our Story
From soft robotics to human health and athletic performance.
Strivonix™ was founded to apply breakthroughs in soft robotics and microfluidics to real-world challenges in human health and athletic performance. Our team combines deep scientific expertise in air muscles, fluid movement, and materials science with decades of experience in product development and business leadership.
Our mission is simple and focused: to promote recovery, reduce pain, and increase mobility. We seek to help people reach their physical potential and stay active for as long as possible.
How do the Python Pants™ Work?
At the heart of the Python Pants™ is a single coiled air muscle that wraps around each leg.
The air muscle consists of an inflatable inner tube surrounded by a tightly woven out shell. As air fills the tube, it expands, changing the angle of the fibers in the woven shell. This geometric change causes the air muscle to shorten, producing a smooth and powerful constriction around the leg.
